Points of Interest                        Artificial Reef of tyres

Ceres is named after the artificial reef made up of bus tyres from the Ceres Bus company.. The sight is just north of the Cars site. The site has many of the same creatures found at Cars. There are lots of various cleaner shrimps among the tyres as many of the fish in the area come here to be cleaned. Plenty of Cephalapods, mainly various types of Cuttlefish are commonly seen residents. Lots of larger frogfish here and morays are also quite common. The safety stop of this site is the same as for Car Wrecks.

The safety stop on the sandy plateau also has a myriad of awesome animals, especially on the various mooring blocks. Hairy Frogfish, Ghost Pipefish, Ringed Pipefish, Sea horses, Flamboyant cuttlefish, Blue Ringed Octopus and Ambon Scorpionfish are commonly sighted. More often than not there are better critters at the safety stop plateau!
