Points of Interest 2 Car Wrecks,
The site is mostly made up of artificial reef among the mainly sandy bottom. The 2 main artificial features are the 2 car wrecks near each other and the mooring blocks with ropes just nearby. It is actually the mooring blocks that seem to hide the most interesting critter life at this site. The car wrecks themselves have a few larger predatory fish and smaller reef fish, and some various shrimp among the rusting metal. There are lots of Lion fish at this site patrolling the wrecks on the hunt for the smaller schooling fish. The mooring blocks that are adorned with some algae, halimeda, and corals contain all sorts of crazy critters. Frogfish, Harlequin Shrimp, Donald Duck Shrimp, but to name a few.
The safety stop on the sandy plateau also has a myriad of awesome animals, especially on the various mooring blocks. Hairy Frogfish, Ghost Pipefish, Ringed Pipefish, Sea horses, Flamboyant cuttlefish, Blue Ringed Octopus and Ambon Scorpionfish are commonly sighted. More often than not there are better critters at the safety stop plateau! Car wrecks is considered one of the best muck diving sites in the Philippines.
