Mamsa Point- Apo Island
Entry Type Boat
Mamsa means “jacks” in the local dialect, and its named after the very large school of Jacks, in the many hundreds that has called this site home. It is another advanced dive due to the strong currents, and if chasing the Jacks can cause disorientation swimming through the big blue. It is definitely worth it to witness the massive school swirling and darting through the currents. The dive starts on a very steep sloping wall, it can take a while to find the school and usually takes a venture out into the blue no-man’s land to find, but as they burst of the unknown it can be an amazing experience.
